Manufacturer warranties are separate from Prime's labour warranty. Coverage depends on the exact product, when it was purchased, and the manufacturer document issued with it.

KV Custom Windows & Doors

Limited lifetime; product-specific terms

KV's published entrance-door warranty includes limited coverage for eligible door components, glass and finishes.

What's included & important conditions
  • Examples include 20-year limited coverage for factory-white steel door panels and decorative doorlites; eligible painted steel systems and vinyl cladding list 15 years.
  • Transfer to a second owner requires manufacturer paperwork within 30 days and a stated $50 administration fee.
  • Products and warranty documents vary; review the version supplied with your order.

VDK describes eligible transferable lifetime coverage for window and patio-door components, with separate shorter terms for entry doors.

  • Selected exterior door components have separate terms; steel and fibreglass door panels are listed at 10 years.

Transferable non-prorated lifetime window warranty

Vinylguard lists qualifying lifetime window component coverage for materials and labour under its published residential terms.

What's included & important conditions
  • Eligible unpainted uPVC, moving hardware, weatherstripping and glass seals have lifetime coverage under stated conditions.
  • Paint finish has separate coverage; the manufacturer describes 20-year paint protection on eligible products.
  • The currently published version applies to orders invoiced on or after January 1, 2025; older orders have prior terms.
